The Legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo’s most popular series, so it inspires tons of fan-made cosplay and other projects. The latest cool fan creation comes from Reddit user u/batterymassacre, who recreated the Deku Shield from fan favorite The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and it translates just as well into real life as I hoped it would. As an early game item players can buy in the Kokiri Shop, most The Legend of Zelda fans know this item bearing the Kokiri symbol by heart. f you are wondering what other games the Deku Shield has been in, it has made appearances on Young Link in both Super Smash Bros Melee and Super Smash Bros Ultimate and is part of Lana’s moveset in Hyrule Warriors. Due to its popularity, many fans have gone about recreating the Deku Shield from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but u/batterymassacre’s may be the the best due to how refined it looks with its polished wood stain.

The Legend of Zelda series continues strongly to this day, with a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild currently in development over at Nintendo. As for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the Nintendo 64 version is available on the Wii U’s eShop; that being said, you can also pick up Grezzo’s The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D remake for the Nintendo 3DS.
